FAQs

Hypnosis is often described as a calm and focused state of attention. Most individuals remain fully aware throughout the session and are able to hear, think, and respond normally. Many people experience hypnosis as deeply relaxing, while others simply feel more mentally focused and present.

What does hypnosis feel like?

1

No. Hypnosis does not involve losing control or becoming unconscious. You remain aware and able to make decisions throughout the session. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, and you cannot be made to do anything against your values or intentions.

Will I lose control during hypnosis?

2

What can hypnotherapy help with?

3

Hypnotherapy may support a wide range of personal and professional goals, including confidence, stress management, focus, motivation, habits, mindset, clarity, performance, and personal growth. Each session is tailored to the individual and their specific objectives.

Is hypnotherapy the same as therapy?

4

No. Hypnotherapy is not psychotherapy and does not replace licensed medical or mental health care. Sessions are designed to support personal growth, self-awareness, and behavioral change through focused hypnotherapy techniques and guided exploration.

Every individual and goal is different. Some clients may benefit from only a few sessions, while others may choose to continue working together over a longer period of time, depending on their goals and desired progress.

How many sessions will I need?

5

What happens during the first session?

6

The first session, “Where We Start,” is a personalized 90-minute experience focused on understanding your goals and exploring how hypnotherapy may support meaningful change. Sessions may include conversation, goal alignment, and guided hypnotherapy techniques tailored to your needs.

What if I’m not sure hypnotherapy is right for me?

7

That’s completely okay. Many people begin with curiosity and questions. The goal of the first session is not pressure or commitment, but exploration, understanding, and determining whether the process feels aligned with your goals and needs.

Do I need to prepare for my session?

8

No special preparation is required. Clients are simply encouraged to arrive with an open mind, a clear and quiet environment, and a general understanding of what they would like to work toward or improve.
