Hansen Hypnotherapy
Growth has been a defining theme throughout my life—not only professionally, but personally as well.
I have always been drawn to understanding what helps people move forward: how we adapt, how we build confidence, how we respond to uncertainty, and how we create meaningful change when the next step is not always obvious.
That curiosity has been shaped by a life and career that rarely followed a conventional path. Over more than three decades, I have moved through very different worlds—as a competitive athlete, an international entertainer, a customer experience leader, a talent attraction partner, and now a clinical hypnotherapist. Each chapter required me to learn, adapt, build new skills, and become comfortable stepping into unfamiliar territory.
Through those experiences, I came to understand that growth does not necessarily come from changing who we are. More often than not, it begins with understanding who we are, where we are, and what we already carry with us as we move forward.
Over time, those experiences also made me more aware of something I had encountered in my own life and began recognizing in others.
Capable, intelligent, and motivated people can know what they want and still find themselves held back by uncertainty, self-doubt, habits, or patterns that seem difficult to change. The challenge is not always a lack of ambition, discipline, or understanding. Often, there is a gap between knowing what you want and being able to consistently move toward it.
That realization deepened my interest in how lasting change occurs and ultimately led me to the study of clinical hypnotherapy, mindset, behavior, and subconscious patterns.
What drew me to hypnotherapy was its focus on the patterns that often operate beneath conscious intention. We can understand what we want to change, recognize what may be getting in the way, and still struggle to create a different response.
Hypnotherapy offered me a way to explore that space more directly—where habits, associations, expectations, and automatic responses can influence how we think, feel, and act.
That perspective felt both practical and deeply human. It helped me understand why knowing what we want is not always enough—and why lasting change often requires working with the patterns that influence how we think, feel, and respond.
Today, I am completing my clinical hypnotherapy training through the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI) while building Hansen Hypnotherapy around a collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized approach.
I believe meaningful progress happens when people feel understood, respected, and actively involved in the work they are doing. My role is not to tell someone who they should become, but to help them better understand the patterns that influence them and to create the conditions for change that support the goals they have chosen for themselves.
Whether someone is working through uncertainty, building confidence, changing an unhelpful pattern, or pursuing something that matters deeply to them, I want Hansen Hypnotherapy to be a place where that work feels focused, collaborative, and grounded.
At its core, my work is about helping people move toward what they already know is possible—with greater confidence, clarity, and intention.
